Thai Pizza

Stay in tonight and skip take-out with this quick gourmet pizza.


1 ball (600 g) pizza dough
1 1/2 cup (150g) shredded mozzarella cheese (low sodium)
1 cup (250 mL) halved cherry tomatoes
1/4 tsp (1 mL) pepper
2 cans (85 g each) CLOVER LEAF® Flaked Light Tuna - Spicy Thai Chili
1/4 cup (60 mL) torn fresh Thai basil


  1. Preheat oven to 425F (220C). Place rack on lowest position in oven.  
  2. On lightly floured surface, roll out pizza dough to fit greased 12-inch (30 cm) round pizza pan. Sprinkle cheese and tomatoes over top; sprinkle with pepper. 
  3. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until crust is golden brown on the bottom. 
  4. Remove pizza from oven; scatter tuna over top. Broil for about 5 minutes or until tuna is heated through. Sprinkle with basil. 
  • Roll out dough on a lightly floured surface to avoid sticking, and if dough “springs back” during rolling, let it rest for 5 minutes, then continue with recipe. 
  • Alternatively, use a pre-baked store-bought pizza crust.
