Seafood Spinach Dip

Here’s a hot and flavourful dip that works just as well using Clover Leaf Crab or Lobster Delectables™ Flaked products.


2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp (15 mL) butter
1/2 tsp (2 mL) crushed dried basil
1/4 tsp (1 mL) ground black pepper
300 g (1 pkg) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
1/4 cup (50 mL) grated Parmesan cheese
1 pkg (227 g) Clover Leaf Lobster Delectables™, Flake Style or Clover Leaf Crab Delectables™, Flake Style
1/4 cup (50 mL) mayonnaise
1/4 cup (50 mL) cream cheese
Crackers or bread sticks


  1. In a non-stick skillet, sauté garlic in butter for 1 minute.
  2. Add basil and pepper, followed by spinach, Parmesan cheese and Delectables.
  3. Heat through, stirring frequently.
  4. Add mayonnaise and cream cheese, stirring constantly until cheese has blended in.
  5. Remove from heat and serve immediately in a dish alongside crackers or bread sticks.
