Tuna Flatbread

This pizza is a delicious treat for any occasion.

This recipe has been created by Chef Erica Karbelnik, Top Chef Canada’s season 9 winner!

Ingredients

1 can (85 g) lover Leaf® Flaked Light Tuna - Dill and Lemon
1 ball (560 g) Pizza dough, split into 4
½ cup Flour for rolling out dough
4 slices Havarti cheese
½ cup Red onion, sliced thinly
2 tbsp Capers
4 tbsp Olive oil
1/2 cup Baby arugula (garnish)

PREP INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 375F degrees.
  2. On a sheet tray, lined with parchment, sprinkle flour.
  3. Sprinkle flour on your hands and roll each ball of pizza dough to be the size of your hand.
  4. Spread the Clover Leaf Flaked Light Tuna – Dill and Lemon in the center of the dough. Make sure to leave a 1 cm crust.
  5. Garnish each dough with ¾ of the red onion and 1 tbsp of capers.
  6. Place 1 piece of Havarti cheese on each dough.
  7. Brush the crusts with olive oil and bake for about 12 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and garnish with sliced red onion, baby arugula and olive oil.
