Sundried Tomato and Basil Tuna Pasta

A hot meal in 15 minutes!! You can mix-n’-match different pastas with Clover Leaf’s 7 Flavoured Tuna varieties.


2 cups (500 mL) penne pasta
1 tbsp (15 mL) olive oil
1 cup (250 mL) mushrooms, sliced
1 can (396 mL) diced tomatoes
1 tbsp (15 mL) tomato paste
1 can (85 g) Clover Leaf Skipjack Flaked Light Tuna-Sundried Tomato & Basil
1 tbsp (15 mL) chopped fresh parsley


  1. Cook pasta according to package directions, drain.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan.
  3. Add the mushrooms and sautée for 2 minutes.
  4. Add the can of tomatoes and tomato paste, cook over low-medium heat for 5 minutes.
  5. Stir in Clover Leaf Sundried Tomato & Basil Tuna and chopped parsley. Cook for 1 minute longer.
  6. Stir in the pasta and mix well.
  7. Serve immediately.
