Shrimp Spread

This very simple appetizer is so easy to prepare and a delicious surprise with levels of flavour and texture!

Ingredients

1 pkg (250 g)
light cream cheese
3/4 cup (175 mL)
salsa (prepared / jarred)
1 can (106 g)
Clover Leaf Small or Cocktail Shrimp, drained

Preparation

  1. Soften cream cheese in microwave safe bowl for 1-2 minutes.
  2. Fold in half a can of shrimp into mixture.
  3. Heat mixture in microwave for another 1 minute. 
  4. Top mixture with salsa and remaining shrimp.
  5. Serve with toast, crackers or tortilla chips.
