Mediterranean Brisling Devilled Eggs

A devilishly delicious twist on a tried & true - with added nutrition and wicked flavour!

Ingredients

6-8
Eggs
1 can (106 g)
Clover Leaf Brisling Sardines-Mediterranean
mayonnaise, if desired
chives, for garnish
tomatoes, for garnish

Preparation

  1. Hard-boil the eggs and cut each one into halves.
  2. Remove the egg yolks and mix them with the sardines and the sauce. If the purée seems too dry, add some mayonnaise.
  3. Refrigerate both purée and halved egg whites until ready to assemble before serving.
  4. Gently spoon purée in the egg whites, and garnish with chives, tomato and olive slice.
  5. Serve immediately.
