You don’t need to bribe your kids to get them to eat well. The fun pinwheel shape of these fresh and healthy wrap bites, made with our protein-rich tuna, make them the ideal nutritious lunch for your kiddos — or a great healthy appetizer for the whole fam.

Ingredients

1 can (170g) CLOVER LEAF® Chunk Light Skipjack Tuna in Water, drained
2 tbsp Greek yogurt, plain, fat free
1/8 tsp Garlic powder
1/8 tsp Black pepper, ground
½ cup Carrots, shredded
1 Avocado, sliced
2 Whole wheat tortilla
Optional Sides:
1 cup Strawberries, halved
1 cup Cucumbers, sliced
4 Mini hummus packs or hummus in a dressing container

PREP INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Mix tuna with yogurt and garlic powder. Season with pepper.
  2. Lay one tortilla flat and lay rows of ingredients, one in front of the other: ½ tuna mixture, ¼ cup carrots, ½ avocado slices.
  3. Lift the edge of the wrap, that goes the same direction as the rows, and roll it over the ingredients, wrapping as tightly as possible as you go.
  4. Slice the wrap into about 8-10 pinwheels, each about 1 inch thick.
  5. Divide wheels among 2 lunch boxes along with ¼ cup strawberries, ¼ cup cucumbers, and hummus.
  6. Repeat with the second tortilla and remaining tuna, carrots and avocado. Pack the other 2 lunch boxes.
