Greek Salad Tuna Burger With Lemon-Dill Yogurt

A salad and a burger all in one, this fresh, protein-packed burger combines all those classic Greek flavours with delicious tuna, topped with a finger-licking lemon-dill yogurt!


2 cans (170g) Clover Leaf® Solid White Albacore Tuna in Water, drained
1 tbsp Zest of 1 lemon
2-3 tbsp Juice of 1 lemon
1 tsp Red wine vinegar
1 tsp Italian seasoning + ½ tsp set aside
2 tbsp Mayonnaise
¼ cup Red onion, minced
½ tsp Garlic powder
½ tsp Onion powder
½ cup Feta, crumbled
1 Egg
¼ cup Breadcrumbs + ½ cup set aside

1 cup Greek yogurt
4 cloves Garlic, minced
1 tsp Lemon zest
1 tbsp Lemon juice
2 tbsp Fresh dill, chopped
Fresh cracked pepper to taste

½ cup Tomatoes, seeded and diced
½ cup Cucumbers, seeded and diced
½ cup Red onion, minced
2 tbsp Kalamata olives, diced
2 tsp Parsley, minced
2 tsp Red wine vinegar
2 tsp Extra virgin olive oil

2 tbsp Olive Oil for frying
2 cups Romaine lettuce, shredded
4 Brioche buns


  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine tuna, zest, and juice of lemon, Italian seasoning, red onion, mayo, garlic powder, onion powder, feta, red wine vinegar and egg. Mix thoroughly; add breadcrumbs and mix again. Form into 4 equal-sized patties, place on a plate, cover and refrigerate to chill until firm, for about 20-30 minutes (or up to 6 hours, if prepping in advance).
  2. Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, whisk together the yogurt, garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, and dill. Season with pepper. Chill until ready to use.
  3. In a small bowl, combine tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, olives, parsley, extra virgin olive oil, and red wine vinegar. Set aside.
  4. When ready to cook patties, combine ½ cup breadcrumbs and ½ tsp Italian seasoning in a shallow bowl or rimmed plate. Coat patties all over in breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is heated, add the tuna patties and cook until lightly browned and crispy, about 5 minutes per side.
  6. Prepare each burger: Liberally spread yogurt across bottom burger bun and put a handful of shredded lettuce on top. Place patty on lettuce, and top with cucumber-tomato salad and top bun. Serve.
