New England Clam Chowder

This gutsy supper dish makes a super quick meal for company. Don’t be afraid of the garlic, it mellows with the other flavours.
1 lb (500 g) dry fettuccine pasta
1/4 cup (50 mL) olive oil
6 cloves garlic, crushed
1/2 tsp (2 mL) dried thyme
1/4 tsp (1 mL) dried hot chili flakes
2 cans (142 g each) Clover Leaf Baby Clams
2/3 cup (150 mL) dry white wine
1/3 cup (75 mL) coarsely chopped chives
