The basic components of our can label are: product name/type, ingredient list, nutrition facts, and Best Before date (located on the top or bottom of the can). On our labels, you can also gain the following information: certifications such as Dolphin Safe or Kosher, the species inside the can, where the can was processed (Product Of), and the medium that the seafood is in (i.e. water, vegetable oil). Each can is also stamped with a unique production code that allows us to trace it back to the factory location and date it was produced. The majority of our cans can then be traced back from that factory to the fishing boat, region, and date of catch using this code.
