Lemon Pepper Bow Tie Crab Salad

In no time you can have a quick and filling meal on the table! This dish works well as a salad or a main dish and can be consumed hot or cold, depending on the season and your mood!

Ingredients

3 cups (750 mL)
dry bow tie pasta
2 tbsp (30 mL)
lemon juice
6 tbsp (90 mL)
non-fat sour cream
1/4 cup (50 mL)
light mayonnaise
1/2 tsp (2 mL)
each black pepper, sugar and dry dill weed
Salt, to taste
2 pkg (227 g each)
Clover Leaf Crab Delectables™, Flake Style

cucumber, seeded and finely chopped
1
stalk celery, finely chopped
1
small carrot, grated
1/4 cup (50 mL)
frozen peas, cooked (optional)

Preparation

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  2. Rinse under cold water and drain well.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, sour cream, mayonnaise and seasonings.
  4. Add cooked pasta, Crab Delectables™ and vegetables.
  5. Toss together well and serve.
