About Us

Clover Leaf first captured the flavour of the sea way back in 1871 when we founded the first cannery on the Fraser River in British Columbia. At the time, we were the only one. Since then, we’ve expanded operations nationwide so we can provide delicious, nutritious seafood for all Canadians.

Our Vision. Our Mission.

Clover Leaf is the #1 Seafood brand in Canada for good reason. We pride ourselves in producing high quality, nutritious seafood products for Canadians across the country. Our reputation has been built on quality and trust, and we work very hard to maintain that trust by bringing you the very best every day. That is why we were rated the #1 Most Trusted Brand by Canadians.

#1 Brand Most Trusted by Canadians (2024)

*Voted most trusted Canned Seafood brand by Canadian shoppers based on the 2024 BrandSpark® Canadian Trust Study.

We also want to ensure that we respect the habitats we are involved in through sustainable partnerships and community outreach programs.

QUALITY

“Love the taste every time” is not just Clover Leaf’s mantra – it’s our commitment to you. Clover Leaf has a wide variety of canned seafood products that must all pass strict quality control measures before they earn the privilege of wearing the Clover Leaf label.

Community outreach

Clover Leaf invests in communities to help those in need.
2023 began with our participation in the Toonies for Tummies campaign, organized by The Grocery Foundation, feeding hungry children returning to school, as student nutrition programs face unprecedented pressures.
We continue to participate in Food Banks Canada’s annual ‘After the Bell’ program to help feed children during the summer months across Canada. In 2023, products and donations filled 185,000 child-friendly food packs with nutritious, shelf stable items like Clover Leaf Hummus Snack and fresh items like apples, cheese and yogurt.
As of November 2023, we have donated over 66,000 cans of product this year to various food banks in Canada.
