Fresh, zesty, and ready in no time – these Lemon Pepper Salmon Tacos are a bright twist on taco night. Made with our Wild Flaked Salmon – Lemon Pepper, they’re layered with crunchy slaw and vibrant toppings for the perfect balance of citrusy flavour and satisfying protein. Easy to assemble and endlessly customizable, they’re a crowd-pleasing option for weeknight dinners or casual entertainment.

Ingredients

4-5 cups (340 g bag) Broccoli Cole Slaw mix
1/4 cup (65 g) Coleslaw dressing
1/4 cup Cilantro, finely chopped
2 cloves Garlic, minced
3 cans (80 g each) Clover Leaf Wild Flaked Salmon - Lemon Pepper
1 tsp Ground cumin
1/4 tsp Ground coriander
1 tbsp (11 g) Neutral oil (vegetable or canola)
8 Corn or flour tortillas, 6” each, warmed
2 Radishes, sliced thin
2 tsp Cilantro leaves, for serving
2 Limes, cut into wedges, for serving

PREP INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Pour coleslaw mix into a bowl. Add the dressing and cilantro and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate the slaw mixture while preparing the rest of the meal.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add salmon, cumin, and coriander. Sauté until heated through. Set aside.
  3. Assemble the tacos – Spoon the salmon mixture into warm tortillas and top with the slaw mixture, radish and cilantro. Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.

Tip:

  • For a home-made light dressing option, whisk together 1 minced clove of garlic, 3 tablespoons of lime juice, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of ground cumin, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Pour over coleslaw mix.
