Fun! Fun! Fun!

So the kids are off soon for March Break which means you'll be looking for fun activities for them to do. Be Active Everyday, Canada!

For health benefits, the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology has established Physical Activity Guidelines that recommend children and youth, aged 5-17 years, accumulate at least 60 minutes of moderate- to vigorous-intensity physical activity daily. This will help them improve their health, do better in school, grow stronger, feel happier, improve their self-confidence and a whole lot more.

Kids should minimize the time they spend being sedentary each day by limiting both recreational screen time and sedentary (motorized) transport. The lowdown on the slowdown can be seen here.
