Crab Nachos with Crab Cocktail Salsa

We've taken ‘Nachos & Salsa' to the next level using flaked style crab flavoured seafood; great for not only casual entertaining but cocktail parties, too.

Ingredients

Crab Cocktail Salsa
1 pkg (227 g)
Clover Leaf Crab Delectables™, Flake Style
1 bottle (236 mL)
cocktail sauce
1-1/2 cups (375 mL)
diced tomato (1 large)
1 cup (250 mL)
diced onion (1 medium)
1/2 cup (125 mL)
diced green pepper (1/4 medium)

Optional: salt, pepper, chopped jalapeno pepper or chopped cilantro, to taste
Crab Nachos
1/4 bag (1/4)
tortilla chips
2 cups (500 mL)
shredded Mexican cheese blend
1 pkg (227 g)
Clover Leaf Crab Delectables TM, Flake Style
1/3 cup (75 mL)
sliced black olives
-
Optional: guacamole, sour cream, chopped tomatoes and chopped green onions

Preparation

Crab Cocktail Salsa: 

  1. In a mixing bowl, place salsa ingredients and stir to combine.
  2. Store in refrigerator until ready to serve.

Crab Nachos: 

  1. To make nachos, place the tortilla chips on a baking dish in an even layer. Evenly distribute the cheese over the top of the chips and top with the Crab Delectables™ and olives.
  2. Bake the nachos at 375°F (190°C) for about 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and chips are hot and browned at edges.
  3. Serve with seafood salsa.
