Thai Tuna Dip

This tuna appetizer is delicious and can be made a day ahead for your convenience.

Thai Tuna Dip Ingredients

2 Finely chopped green onions
1 pkg (250 g) Light cream cheese, softened
2 cans (85 g each) Clover Leaf Flaked Light Tuna - Spicy Thai Chili
1 tsp (5 mL) Curry powder
1 tsp (5 mL) Turmeric
1/2 tsp (2 mL) Ground cumin
1 Juice of a lime
¼ bunch Fresh parsley, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. In a medium microwaveable bowl, combine green onions, cream cheese, tuna, curry, turmeric, cumin and lime juice. 
  2. Heat in the microwave, uncovered, for about 2 minutes or until the mixture is warmed through.
  3. Add parsley to the mixture and blend in a food processor for a smooth texture. Let this sit for a few minutes. 
  4. Serve with raw vegetables or crackers.
  5. Makes approx. 1 1/2 cups (375ml).

Tip:

Prepare this dip up to a day ahead; cover and refrigerate. Heat at serving time.
