Tuna and Pear Melt

Tuna and Pear Melt Ingredients
| 2 cans (85g each) | Clover Leaf Flaked Light Tuna - Dill & Lemon |
| 1 | pear, cored and sliced thinly |
| 1/2 cup (125 mL) | walnuts |
| 1/2 cup (125 mL) | blue cheese, crumbled |
| 2 slices | baguette, sour dough bread or your preferred bread |
Preparation
- Slice the bread diagonally and place onto a baking sheet.
- Place a layer of tuna across the bread followed by a layer of the sliced pear and then chopped walnuts.
- Crumble the blue cheese overtop and place under broiler until melted.
- Garnish with dill and more chopped walnuts, if desired.
Tip: If you are looking for an alternative to blue cheese, these varieties of cheese come highly recommended - Gruyère, Taleggio, Gorgonzola and goat cheese.
