Crab Nachos with Crab Cocktail Salsa Ingredients
| Crab Cocktail Salsa | |
| 1 pkg (227 g) | Clover Leaf Crab Delectables TM Flake Style |
| 1 bottle (236 mL) | cocktail sauce |
| 1-1/2 cups (375 mL) | diced tomato (1 large) |
| 1 cup (250 mL) | diced onion (1 medium) |
| 1/2 cup (125 mL) | diced green pepper (1/4 medium) |
| Optional: salt, pepper, chopped jalapeno pepper or chopped cilantro, to taste | |
| Crab Nachos | |
| 1/4 bag (1/4) | tortilla chips |
| 2 cups (500 mL) | shredded Mexican cheese blend |
| 1 pkg (227 g) | Clover Leaf Crab Delectables TM, Flake Style |
| 1/3 cup (75 mL) | sliced black olives |
| Optional: guacamole, sour cream, chopped tomatoes and chopped green onions |
Preparation
- Crab Cocktail Salsa:
In a mixing bowl, place salsa ingredients and stir
to combine. Store in refrigerator until ready to serve. - Crab Nachos:
To make nachos, place the tortilla chips on a baking dish in an even layer. Evenly distribute the cheese over the top of the chips and top with the Crab Delectables and olives. Bake the nachos at 375°F (190°C) for about 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and chips are hot and browned at edges. Serve with seafood salsa.
