1) Should I be concerned that radiation may impact any of Clover Leaf’s canned tuna, salmon, or other canned seafood?
No. Clover Leaf Seafoods’ products are not affected by the nuclear problem in Japan.
Clover Leaf does not import any products or materials from Japan.
We are continuously monitoring the developments on this issue to identify any concern which may impact our products. We are working with our suppliers to ensure that our products, packaging materials and ingredients will continue to meet our current rigorous standards.
Clover Leaf Seafoods is under the regulatory governance of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), which is constantly assessing the ongoing nuclear crisis in Japan as it evolves and taking appropriate actions as necessary to protect Canada's food system.
